I discussed this in my original post on here a few months ago. I began having certain AA issues in the 2nd Ranked Arenas season, although it was more rare. My belief / opinion from experience as an Arena player with thousands of matches is that the current AI matchmaking may have been tested in Arenas & coincidentally Arenas was removed just before that new match making was introduced into BR. Around the time 3 Strikes was removed, game started giving problems again. 3 Strikes mode was very stable, Mixtape was stable. In October I posted that I downgraded my controller firmware & up until early December the AA appeared to be working normally for the most part. Dead-slides, dead-grapples, movement negatively affected.Visibility issues, graphic degradation.ME: 0 dead-zone, 0 response curve, 143 yaw. Aim Resist -> hit box/AA bubble on player REPELS crosshair/red dot sight & no amount of input from the right analog will get the aim back onto enemy.I played 3 last night & quit because it was so unstable. I’ve recorded clips & also started recording full games. To clarify: it’s not the opponents skill that’s the problem, it’s the fact that I’m unable to aim or move properly & therefore I can’t compete, even if they’re average players, the game literally feels out of sync. +- 4000 dmg 20 kills in Mixtape) & the next game is completely unplayable. What I have noticed is I will have a very good game (e.g. I’ve also seen a video by an Apex news creator covering it. It’s doing the opposite though, people are leaving Apex. HisWattson tweeted about matchmaking & he stated that the game wants to dictate when you succeed & fail in a way that will keep your brain engaged for as long as possible. There’s also a post on Reddit by a programmer about Apex matchmaking. The COD community is discussing the same issues. I have experienced this & began researching matchmaking patents after seeing a video in December about an EOMM system in Call of Duty. I've reported this issue but it is 100% related to the mmr and mm forcing players to play on servers they have no business playing I agree with what you’ve said. I even got matched against two triple stacks after I had blocked around 30 players and demolished them because I had strong consistent aa on all of them. This would explain why only certain players didn't have aa would have very little aa on them. I took it upon myself to start blocking these players via steam so I wouldn't be matched against them anymore and have noticed a immediate difference in my aa's consistency. After around 20 matches I had started to notice that when I was playing against players from china or players with extremely bad ping that it seemed as if I had little to no aa. So i'm based out of the US west coast and played around 40 matches yesterday of mix tape "It's easier to control the variables in these modes". I proved this 100% yesterday by checking which types of players did and didn't have aa. Information, Guides and Announcements for the EA app.
